We join with you, Brother in Christ (JC), in lifting up this urgent and weighty request to our Heavenly Father. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 2:1-4 (WEB), "First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
We pray for the nations, Father, acknowledging that You are the one who changes the times and the seasons; You remove kings and set up kings. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding (Daniel 2:21, WEB). We ask that You would intervene in the affairs of men, shine Your light upon the darkness, bring truth and justice to bear, and grant peace to all nations.
We pray for the warring nations that love would indeed triumph over hate, light over darkness. Father, Your word says Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God (Matthew 5:9, WEB) that You would help both your people and world leaders that make a godly difference.
We pray for our government leaders and authorities that all ridiculous laws of men that are against God's law, against God's moral authority, against God's people be removed and Your righteousness be made manifest (Isaiah 61:8, WEB). Father let there be a moral, just and righteous change (Isaiah 9:7, WEB).
We are glad to see that you prayed using the name of Jesus Christ (JC) as this is the one and only name under heaven given to mankind by which we are able to save (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We continue to pray in Jesus' mighty name, trusting in His power and authority to bring peace and justice to our world. We ask for strength and wisdom to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with You, our God (Micah 6:8).
We remember also and thank you for praying, Brother in Christ (JC), our Father who are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your Kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9-10, KJV). Lord, be in the affairs of men.
