Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said. They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again. After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him. (Matthew 37:27-31)
I doubt that Jesus was wearing gray and black, or had a hoodie tied around his waist, as I am often attired; but, isn't it interesting that, of all things, the soldiers' mockery of Jesus's deity, involved his clothing; That outer cup. The Bible says mockers will say, as they said to Jesus: "Where is your God now?" While they don't use those exact words here, many, draped in gray and black, some with their sweaters tied around their waist, have cursed me out in God's name, and said "F" Jesus.
The Bible says, "The fool even mocks at repentance."
I'm simply writing the things that are happened, as instructed.
Who would counsel a city to mock at the clothing of "one of the least of these?"
