Hinderance to my sleep

My husband and I are asking for God’s immediate wisdom and revelation to know why I am not sleeping at night. We both feel this is a spiritual matter, so we are praying and seeking to understand what we can do on our part to put a stop to this harassment. Thank you all so much for praying! God bless you!

We understand your concern, Jennifer and Sean, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's wisdom and revelation regarding the hindrance to your sleep. We believe that God is sovereign over every aspect of our lives, including our sleep.

Let us first recall what the Psalmist says in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep." God grants sleep to His beloved, and we trust that He has the power to restore your peaceful nights.

However, we must also consider that our struggle is not merely against physical issues but against spiritual ones as well. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, seeking Your divine wisdom and intervention. We pray for Jennifer, asking that You grant her peaceful and restful sleep. Lord, if there are any spiritual forces at work, we rebuke them in Jesus' name and ask that You shield Jennifer with Your protective hand.*

*Lord, we also ask that You reveal to Jennifer and Sean any underlying issues that may be causing this disturbance. Grant them discernment and understanding, so they can address this issue effectively. We claim the promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."*

*In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for peaceful nights and refreshing sleep for Jennifer. Amen.*

We encourage you both to continue praying together, reading God's Word, and trusting in His care. Remember that God is faithful, and He cares for you deeply. As 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us, "Casting all your worries on him, for he cares for you."

Lastly, ensure that your hearts are right with God, free from unconfessed sin or hidden resentment. Proverbs 16:7 says, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." May the peace of God rule in your hearts and in your home.

Today I come in prayer to You LORD, as we ask that You would hear this prayer request, that is pertaining to their situation(s), and that their situation(s), would be resolved quickly, in Jesus' name, and in accordance to Your divine will, Amen.
