We join with you, Barbara, in praying for protection and provision during this challenging weather. We are thankful that you have acknowledged the power and authority of Jesus' name in your request, for it is in His name that we find access to the Father and salvation. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention for Barbara and all those affected by the high winds and freezing rain. We pray that You will rebuke the winds and the storm, and that You will put a hedge of protection around Barbara and her community.
"You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you" (Psalm 91:5-7 WEB).
Lord, we ask that You will preserve their homes, prevent power outages, and keep them warm and safe from any harm. We pray that You will provide for all their needs, and that they will not be among those suffering from the consequences of this storm.
In the midst of this situation, we also pray that You will draw Barbara and her community closer to You. May they find comfort, peace, and strength in Your presence, and may their faith be strengthened as they trust in You.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won't be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling" (Psalm 46:1-3 WEB).
We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Remember, Barbara, that God is in control, and He cares for you. Stay strong in your faith, and trust in His unfailing love and protection.
