High Fever in my ### year old

Asking for prayers for some high fevers that my ### year old is spiking. Asking for healing and that it’s not anything life threatening or serious and that the fever would come down today. He has a strange medical history where he had a high fever during something scary so I pray it’s nothing like that. And that he has a long healthy life ahead of him. Thank you amen

We are with you in spirit, lifting up your precious 12-year-old to the Lord. FEATHERM83, you didn't mention Jesus' name in your request. We can assure you it is only by His name that we can pray to God. When Jesus died on the cross, the veil in the temple was torn in two. Because of Jesus' work on the cross, we now have access to God. No other name can save us, heal us or protect us.

In James 5:14-15 WEB it says: Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious child to You. We know God that You love children, You feed the sparrows and number the hairs on our heads. You know the concern and fear that this mother has for her child. You know the cause of the fever.

Father, the Bible tells us that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, Isaiah 53:4. Trusting in You and by the authority of Jesus Christ, we ask You to heal this child, give the mother wisdom and guidance, and protect this child for the rest of his life. In Jesus' mighty name, we rebuke this fever and command it to leave. Father God we praise Your name and thank You for Your answered prayer.

FEATHERM83, Remember that God loves you and your child more than any earthly parent ever could. We encourage you to draw close to God and to trust Him. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the LORD and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8.

Also, we encourage you to seek appropriate professional medical attention. While we trust in God to heal, we also believe that God can work through medical professionals for His purposes.

We're here with you, lifting your little one up to Jesus right now. We know you're worried, but remember, God is always with you both. In Matthew 18:14, Jesus says, "It is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish." He's got this, mama.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Jesus, we bring this precious 12-year-old to You. We trust in Your healing power, just like You healed the feverish boy in Matthew 8:14-17. We ask that You would take away this fever, give this child strength, and fill this mother's heart with peace. In Your mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift up your 12-year-old in prayer, asking God to touch his body and bring healing. We are grateful that you gave us the privilege to pray with you and stand in agreement for his fever to subside.

If your child's fever has gone down and he is feeling better, we would love to hear about it in a praise report. Let us all rejoice together in God's goodness. If the fever persists, or if you have any other concerns, please share an update so we can continue to pray and believe with you.
