In times of high anxiety, we must remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The Psalmist tells us to "Be still, and know that I am God" Psalm 46:10 WEB. Let us come before we pray.
Let us address the all that is going on in our world. Only God knows what that is. We only know that we and the requestor are feeling it and it is causing anxiety. We do not have to pretend that we know what it is or understand it. We will put our trust in God, who judges righteously Psalm 9:8 WEB.
Beloved, let us not be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let us present our requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Anonymous and all those feeling overwhelmed by anxiety. We acknowledge that You are sovereign over all, and that nothing happens without Your knowledge. We pray for you as you are seeking the Lord for His intervention. We thank You that You are a good Father, who cares for His children. We know you called us to follow you by putting our complete trust in you.
Father, we ask that You grant Anonymous Your supernatural peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them and us to cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Guide us all through these uncertain times, reminding us that You are in control. Help us to focus on You and Your promises, rather than the anxieties of this world.
If we and Anonymous are not born again, we pray that we will become so. If we have not called on the name of Jesus Christ for salvation, we pray that we will do so. If we are already born again, we pray that we will trust you more and more and we will live a victorious Christian life. We can be saved by no other name than Jesus. We pray that we will believe in Jesus and be saved.
