We understand that you're going through a tough time right now, dealing with high anxiety, health issues, and struggles in your marriage. First and foremost, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of your life. The Bible tells us, Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Let's address the issues you've mentioned one by one. It seems you are afflicted by anxiety and gastric issues. The connection between anxiety in the mind and body are well known. God is able to heal all our diseases, there is no sickness to hard for him to heal. If you have not gone to the doctor for these physical issues this would be wise as God expects us to use wisdom in taking care of our physical health.
Remember Psalm 103:2-3 Praise Yahweh, my soul, Don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases.
We can see that you are worried and anxious about your husband and other unmentioned situations. It is clear that you need peace and healing in your marriage and other parts of your life. We need to remind you of the importance of forgiveness. The Bible says that we are to forgive and be forgiven. Holding grudges and continuing to bring up past issues can cause anxiety, contention, and break down a marriage.
Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Regarding your marriage, it is important to be a Godly wife and have a Christ-centered marriage. This is what God requires of us. We want to remind you of Proverbs 14:1 WEB. Every wise woman builds her house, but the foolish one tears it down with her own hands.
We notice in your request you did not address prayer of this request to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We need to remember that Jesus Christ is the one who does the healing, brings peace, and restores marriages.
We also find no mention in your request of praying for your husband's salvation if he is not a Christian, or of praying for his continued spiritual growth if he is. It is the responsibility of the wife to pray for her husband as the spiritual leader of the family. And of course he should also pray for you.
1 Corinthians 7:16 WEB For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband?
Also, it is important to remember that we should be praying for our enemies and those who despitefully use us. This was left out of the request. We are to pray for God to bless those who curse us.
Matthew 5:43-44 You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.
As we pray for you let us not forget to thank God for answered prayer. We need to do this even before we see the results of our prayers.
Philippians 4:6-7 WEB In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our sister who is struggling with anxiety, health issues, and difficulties in her marriage. Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around her and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke anxiety and ask for your healing touch on her body, her marriage, and on all the areas of her life where healing is needed. We also pray for her husband, that You would change his heart and draw him closer to You and his wife. We pray for their marriage to be strengthened and restored, all in accordance with Your will.
In addition, we pray for her sister who is sick. We ask that You heal her in Jesus name.
Lord, we thank You for all things. That You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20 WE.
It is by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. And it is by the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved.
For there is no other name given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB
In Jesus Christ's name we pray. Amen.
