Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts full of faith and hope, lifting up Butch to Your loving care. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your power to heal and restore. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We stand on this promise and ask for Your healing touch upon Butch's body.
Father, we pray for the results of the biopsy. We ask that the mass on Butch's lung be benign, and that it is only a cyst and not cancer. We know that nothing is impossible for You, as stated in Mark 10:27, "With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God." We place our trust in Your divine wisdom and mercy.
Lord, grant Butch and Carol peace that surpasses all understanding during this time of uncertainty. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." May they feel Your comforting presence and be reassured by Your unfailing love.
We also lift up the medical team attending to Butch. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and skill as they care for him. Guide their hands and minds so that they may provide the best possible care.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your perfect plan for Butch's life and believe that You are working all things together for good, as promised in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
God bless you, Carol and Butch. We continue to stand with you in prayer and faith.
