Firstly, we want to address your concern about why the Lord has not yet healed your dad. It's important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). While we may not understand why some things happen, we can trust that God is good and that He loves us (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Let us pray for David Irwin's leg pain. We know that God is a healer, and we believe in the power of prayer. "Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is anyone among you sick? Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up David Irwin. We ask for Your healing power to touch his leg and take away the pain and soreness. We pray for complete healing and comfort. We also pray for his dad, who is suffering from dementia and cancer. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and grace to be upon him. Comfort him in his illness, and give him strength. We ask for wisdom and peace for the family during this difficult time. We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We also want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Regarding your question about healing, Jesus told us, "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33 WEB) Even in the face of illness and difficulty, we can have hope and peace because Jesus has overcome the world.

Lastly, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6 WEB). Please remember that it is through Jesus Christ that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you have not already, consider putting your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
