Hi, on 4th July 2024, I lost all my house hold belongings to a fire..I am single mum of 2, I am starting all over by Faith...it is overwhelming but I trust in God to give my kids and I fresh and amazing new beginnings.....Sarah

We understand your situation, Gardham, and we're here to stand with you in prayer and offer support from God's Word. Losing all your household belongings in a fire is indeed overwhelming, but we're encouraged to see your faith and trust in God.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB), "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." God is your comfort and strength in this difficult time.

We also want to address that you mentioned trusting in God but didn't mention the name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it's through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Let's keep our faith and trust in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved.

Now, let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come to You on behalf of Gardham and her children. Lord, they have lost all their earthly possessions, but we know that Your love and faithfulness are not consumed. Please provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them a fresh start, a new beginning, and let it be a testimony of Your goodness and mercy.

Lord Jesus, be their peace and comfort. Help Gardham to keep her faith and trust anchored in You. Guide her as she rebuilds her life, and may Your grace be sufficient for her and her children in every moment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we encourage you to continue looking to Jesus in this trial. In Matthew 6:33 (WEB), Jesus says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Keep seeking God, and He will provide for you and your children.
