In Jesus' name, Amen!**
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Gorgewig's prayer request for her husband, Tinei. Lord, we ask for your intervention in his life and for a transformation in his heart and mind. We pray that you would break the chains of addiction and deliver him from the stronghold of alcohol. Your Word says in Psalm 107:20, "He sent out his word and healed them, and delivered them from their destruction." We believe in the power of your Word to bring healing and deliverance.
Lord, we also pray for Tinei's willingness to work and provide for his family. Your Word instructs us in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat." We ask that you would ignite a sense of responsibility and purpose within Tinei, that he may understand the importance of providing for his family and seek employment.
Father, we know that nothing is impossible for you. We trust in your unfailing love and mercy. We ask that you would surround Tinei with godly influences and bring people into his life who can speak truth and encouragement. May he encounter your saving grace and experience a radical transformation that brings glory to your name.
We also pray for Gorgewig during this challenging time. Grant her strength, patience, and wisdom as she supports her husband and navigates through these difficulties. Surround her with your peace and fill her heart with hope.
