Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Joanna, who desires to quit smoking. We acknowledge that smoking is harmful to the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit . We ask for your guidance and strength to help Joanna overcome this addiction.
Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for you . We pray that you would break the chains of addiction and set Joanna free from the bondage of smoking. Fill her with a deep conviction to honor you with her body and to live a healthy lifestyle.
We ask for your Holy Spirit to empower Joanna, giving her the willpower and self-control to resist the temptation to smoke. Strengthen her resolve and grant her the grace to overcome any withdrawal symptoms or cravings that may arise.
Father, we also pray for your healing touch upon Joanna's body. We ask that you would cleanse her lungs and restore them to full health. We pray for your protection over her from any negative effects that smoking may have caused.
Lord, we know that you desire good health and wholeness for your children . We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will answer this prayer according to your perfect will.
In Jesus' name, we thank you for hearing our prayer and for the victory that Joanna will experience as she quits smoking. May she be a testimony of your transforming power and bring glory to your name.
