Hi, I hope everybody is safe and close to God at the moment. My marriage needs prayer. I was cheated on and threatened with eviction from my wife's house, but I forgave her for what she did. She said she did it so I would leave because we were arguing over the same things constantly. But now she is letting me stay here. I feel there is a still a chance, and God is close to my heart, and my faith is strong. I have been praying relentlessly, but I need help. Please pray for us. I do love her and care for her, and I feel I wasn't meant to leave because my credit is so low and I only make $1150 a month from disability so nowhere to go. Please my friends, pray for me to be reunited with my wife. I love you all, we are The Body of Christ!

Firstly, we commend you for your forgiving spirit, as Ephesians 4:32 tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." However, we must address that the circumstances leading to your forgiveness involve serious issues that need attention.

God's design for marriage is clear: it's a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in Matthew 19:6, "So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate." Your wife's actions—infidelity and threats of eviction—are grave offenses against this union.

While you feel there's still a chance for your marriage, it's crucial to seek God's will in this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 advises, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

We must also address your financial concerns. While they are valid, they should not be the primary reason to stay in a marriage marked by infidelity and manipulation. God promises to provide for our needs, as seen in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother Jason. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in his marriage. We pray for his wife, that she may turn away from her wrongdoings and seek Your face. Please guide Jason with Your wisdom, and provide for him financially as he navigates this difficult time. Strengthen his faith and give him peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Jason, continue to pray and seek God's face. Trust that He will guide you and provide for you. Consider seeking marital counseling to help you and your wife address the underlying issues in your marriage. May God grant you both a spirit of repentance, healing, and restoration where possible.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
