Hi my name is ###. I have had an issue with pride/self righteousness. I need prayer. I need God to help me see myself in clear view without thinking too highly of myself or too lowly. I have been very insecure most of my life. I was abused, and picked on a lot, but then I became like those who did me wrong. I don't want to continue the cycle. I want God to break me in a good way because I know his word says he resists the proud and gives Grace to the humble. Well Grace to me there is Jesus and I need Jesus. I don't want to continue on this road I've been on and feel stuck in. I need his rest. So prayer please and any advice would be much appreciated if that's allowed.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, we thank You for his honesty and his desire to break free from the cycle of pride and self-righteousness. Your Word tells us in James 4:6 that You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. We ask for Your grace to be poured out upon ### in abundance.

Lord, help ### to see himself clearly, not thinking too highly or too lowly of himself, but seeing himself as You see him. Grant him the humility to acknowledge his weaknesses and the strength to overcome them through Your power. We pray that You would heal the wounds of his past, the abuse, and the insecurities that have plagued him. Transform his heart, Lord, so that he may not become like those who have wronged him, but instead reflect Your love and grace.

Break him in a good way, Father, so that he may be molded into the image of Christ. Your Word in Matthew 11:28-30 invites us to come to You for rest, and we pray that ### would find that rest in You. Help him to lay down his burdens and take up Your easy yoke, walking in step with Your Spirit.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom and guidance for ###. Surround him with godly counsel and support, and lead him on the path of righteousness for Your name's sake. May he experience the fullness of Your grace and the peace that surpasses all understanding.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
