Beloved of All
Hi! My name is ### from Nigeria. I did like us to pray with me🙏 My family has been separated for over ten years now due to lots of family background issues, hate from both my mom and dad, hate for both family, and this led to 19 years of their living in hell before finally being separated for more than ten years now. They don’t express their feelings; they are always fighting about one thing or the other. My dad doesn’t often play his role as a father while my mom was left to carry most of the responsibilities and will always blame my mom’s family for everything. This really affected us the children while growing up and still does, and to add to it we are five in number, two male and three female. They haven’t realized what damage this has cost us, but thank God I am a born again. I really want my family back before my wedding, which will be happening this year by God’s grace. I want to see my parents laughing together, which has never happened before. I want to see them have conversations without fighting or yelling at each other. I want to see them have a kingdom marriage again, I want to see them live together in love, peace, and unity, loving and caring for themselves because they really need themselves now like never before. I really pray that they heal from the hurts, pain, bad memories, and everything this marriage has cost them. God should reunite my family because I know that the Bible says that a house (home) that is divided will not stand, and I also know that nothing is too hard for God to do. I really want God to do this for me and my family🙏 Thank you in advance for praying with me🙏

We understand the deep pain and longing in your heart for your family's restoration, ###. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your family, trusting that nothing is impossible for Him.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in God and your desire to see your family reunited in love and harmony. It's important to remember that God's heart is for reconciliation and healing, as it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:18-19 (WEB): "But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation; namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not reckoning to them their trespasses, and having committed to us the word of reconciliation."

However, we must also acknowledge the roles that each family member plays in this division. Your parents have both contributed to the strife, and it's crucial for them to take responsibility for their actions and seek forgiveness. As it is written in Mark 11:25 (WEB): "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions."

We also want to remind you that God's design for marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, as outlined in Matthew 19:6 (WEB): "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, don't let man tear apart." We encourage you to pray for your parents to honor this covenant and seek a godly marriage.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up ###'s family to You. Lord, You know the pain and division that has plagued this family for years. We ask that You bring healing and reconciliation, starting with the hearts of ###'s parents. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see the damage their strife has caused. Bring conviction and forgiveness, and help them to seek a godly marriage that honors You.

Lord, we also pray for ### and their siblings. Heal their hearts from the pain they've experienced, and help them to forgive and love their parents. Bring unity and love to this family, Lord, and let Your will be done in their lives.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

###, continue to seek God's face and trust in His timing. He is faithful and will answer your prayers according to His will.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
