Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Shurom. We lift up their prayer request to you, Lord, knowing that you are a loving and compassionate God who hears our cries.
We pray, Lord, that you would help Shurom overcome laziness and fully utilize the talents and gifts that you have blessed them with. Your Word reminds us in Proverbs 18:9 that "whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys." We ask that you would ignite a passion within Shurom to diligently steward their talents for your glory.
Father, we also ask for a clear mind for Shurom, free from worries and stressors. Your Word encourages us in Philippians 4:6-7 to not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to you. We pray that Shurom would cast all their cares upon you, knowing that you care for them .
Lord, we lift up Shurom's request to become positive again. We ask that you would remove any negativity and depression from their life. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17-18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. We pray for healing and restoration in their emotional well-being.
Lastly, Father, we pray that you would grant Shurom the strength to face each day and to return to church. Your Word reminds us in Hebrews 10:25 to not neglect meeting together, as is the habit of some, but to encourage one another. We ask that you would draw Shurom back into fellowship with other believers, where they can find support, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. May Shurom experience your love, guidance, and transformation in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
