Hi I'm applying for a job and i pray that i pass to help my family

Please pray for me, for wisdom and confidence during my interview. I pray that I will pass so I may help my family. we were recently robbed by someone and my mom lost a lot of money so I pray that I pass this job to help her and so that my other friend can also come back she was a helper in our house but mom was short on budget so she left.

While it is natural to desire a job to help your family, the ultimate goal should be to align with God's purpose for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." (WEB)

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" (WEB)
