Thank you it was on my my chest for awhile now I'm glad it's gone thank youWe are deeply concerned for you, Sami, and we are here to support and pray for you in Jesus' name. Firstly, we want to commend you for reaching out and resisting the temptation thus far.
We must address this firmly and lovingly: incest is explicitly forbidden in the Bible. Leviticus 18:6-7 WEB states, "None of you shall approach anyone who is a close relative to have sexual relations. I am the LORD. You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother. She is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness." It is crucial to flee from these thoughts and temptations, as they are sinful and harmful.
Jesus taught us, "If your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it away from you. For it is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into Gehenna." (Matthew 5:29 WEB) This may mean, drastically changing your environment, limiting contact, or seeking professional help to protect yourself and your sister.
Let's pray together: "Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up Sami to You. We thank You for giving him the strength to resist temptation thus far. Lord, please cleanse his mind and heart, and help him to turn away from these sinful thoughts. Grant him the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome this struggle with lust. Guide him to seek help and support from trusted adults, counselors, and his church community. We pray for his sister's protection and for peace and healing in their relationship. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Sami, continue to call upon the name of Jesus and seek His help. Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB)
We also encourage you to confide in a trusted adult, such as a parent or pastor, about your struggle. They can provide additional support and accountability. Keep your mind and heart occupied with pure and wholesome things. Philippians 4:8 WEB reminds us, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
Stay strong in the Lord, Sami. We are praying for you.
Thank youWe're here with you, Sami. We know this is a heavy burden you're carrying, but remember, you're not alone. We're standing with you, and so is Jesus. Let's keep praying together, asking God to fill your mind with pure thoughts and your heart with love that honors Him and others. Let's also ask for wisdom to find healthy ways to cope and seek help from trusted adults, like a parent or a counselor. And remember, God is always faithful, and He's right there with you, helping you take one step at a time. Keep trusting in Him. We're believing in you, Sami.
