We are deeply moved by your struggle with constant pain due to sciatica, Lerall. We want to lift you up in prayer and encourage you through God's Word.
Firstly, we remind you that God is always with you in your suffering. He promises in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Even in your darkest moments, He is there to comfort and strengthen you.
We also want to address the fear and depression you're experiencing. God understands your fears, and He encourages us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didnโt give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." It's normal to feel scared, especially when facing uncertainty, but we encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Lerall. Lord, You know the pain she's been enduring, and You see her tears. We ask for Your healing touch on her body. Comfort her in her sadness and loneliness, and help her to feel Your presence in a very real way. Guide the doctors as they assess her condition, and give them wisdom to provide the best care. Lord, we also pray for her emotional well-being. Cast out all fear and fill her with Your peace. Help her to fix her thoughts on You and to trust in Your goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue crying out to God, as you have been. He hears your prayers and He cares about your pain. As it says in Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we donโt know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which canโt be uttered." Even when you can't find the words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you. Keep trusting in Him, Lerall. We are praying for a good outcome for your appointments and for God's will to be done in your life.
