Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our friend Trawroth and their friend who is struggling with severe self-hatred, feelings of loneliness, trauma, worthlessness, and depression. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in their life.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that you would draw near to our friend in their time of need, comforting them and bringing healing to their wounded soul.
Father, we ask that you would surround our friend with genuine friendships and support. Help them to see the love and care that others have for them, and remove any feelings of isolation or deception. Remind them that they are not alone, for you are with them always.
Lord, we pray for healing from the trauma they have experienced. Your Word assures us in Isaiah 61:1 that you have come to bind up the brokenhearted and to proclaim freedom for the captives. We ask for your healing touch to bring restoration and wholeness to their mind, emotions, and spirit.
In the midst of their feelings of worthlessness, we declare your truth over our friend. Your Word tells us in Psalm 139:14 that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, created in your image. Help them to see their inherent value and worth in your eyes, and to find their identity in you.
Lastly, Lord, we ask for deliverance from depression and the desire to disappear. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 42:11 that we can put our hope in you, for you are our Savior and our God. We pray that you would lift the heavy burden of depression from our friend's shoulders and fill them with your peace and joy.
We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in your perfect timing and your unfailing love. May our friend experience your healing, restoration, and renewed hope in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
