Dear Lord, I come to you to pray for Kogcum, who is asking for forgiveness for all of his family's sins as well as for reconciliation. I pray on behalf of this person that they come to you and wholeheartedly repent their sins as I know you are a merciful God and want us to come to you. This person, Lord, keeps committing the same sin over and over and Lord, I know how that feels. It is a difficult situation and can feel like there is no end to the cycle. However, Lord, you are Almighty and can break us free from the shackles of cyclical self-harm so that we may be strengthened in our bond to you.
Lord, I ask that you shut the door to sin on this person's life. And I rebuke all negative entities, adversaries, and the like from coming near this person that hinders what their heart desires them to do rather than sin. Lord, I pray this person peace of mind, heart, and that the roots of the sin they keep committing, that is, whatever has caused that to manifest to be uprooted and their heart healed immediately.
Lord, you are so good and you are so kind that you allow me to pray for others as I have also been helped and healed by the prayers of others. I ask that you hear my prayer for Kogcum and that the bondage of addiction is healed. I also pray you give them hope in this time, as they are confessing their sins and bringing them to you, which can be a scary thing to do. However, Lord, you are gracious, you are Almighty, and you are loving. You hear Kogcum's pain and my prayer on their behalf.
I pray for everlasting freedom from the chains of sin, of cycles of abuse, of negative thoughts, of intrusive thoughts, of temptation and all that is against your Will.
Lord, I know that after Jesus was baptized in the Spirit, Spirit then guided him into the wilderness where the devil met him after he fasted for forty days and forty nights (Matthew 4). The devil tempted Jesus, ranging from telling him to go against your Will, to testing your Word, to forgetting you and instead bowing down to evil instead. Lord Jesus remained strong in your Word and the devil was not able to tempt him any longer.
After the devil left, angels came to administer to Jesus. (Matthew 4:11)
Lord, I pray that you send angels to Kogcum, to minister to their broken spirit crying out for freedom from addiction.
Lord, I pray that Kogcum will put all of their hope unto you and your promises, for you are God Almighty and healing comes to Kogcum soon.
“No one who hopes in you will ever be put to shame” (Psalm 25:3).
2 Peter 3:9 (NASB 2020)
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.
