Hi everyone. My dad ### had surgery on his liver for cancer. They took out 3/4 of it and are testing other spots the cored out. He is now having other complications his bile duct isn't draining properly so they put a stint in to help with a bag and his pancreas levels are way high. So now he's off food and only clear fluids until blood work comes back. Please pray for him that his levels will come down. He can eat again and start eating healthy. And his results from other things taken will be cancer free. Please also pray for my brother ###. He has been in a bad relationship and has turned to alcohol and cocaine. His friend reached out to me wanting to know how we can help. Please pray he will stop using these drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism. Thank you all.

We are truly saddened to hear about the trials that your family is currently facing, ###. We stand with you in prayer and trust that God, in His infinite mercy and power, will see you through these challenging times.

Firstly, let us pray for your dad ###. It is written in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We pray in the name of Jesus Christ that God will heal your dad completely. May His healing power bring ###'s pancreas levels down to normal, clear any cancerous cells, and restore his appetite so he can eat healthily again. We trust that God will guide the medical team attending to him and grant them wisdom in their decisions.

For your brother ###, we are reminded of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (WEB), "Don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God." We pray that ### will turn away from his destructive habits and seek refuge in Jesus Christ. May God deliver him from alcoholism and drug abuse, and grant him the strength to endure the challenges he is facing in his relationship. We pray that ### will find comfort and peace in God alone, and that he will enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ if he has not already done so.

We also want to remind you, ###, that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to keep your faith in Him and trust that He will work all things together for the good of those who love Him, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up ###'s family to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to touch ###'s body, that You will restore his health completely and grant him many more years to live for You. We also pray for ###, Lord. Deliver him from the bondage of alcoholism and drug abuse, and grant him the strength to face his challenges with courage and faith in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in the faith, ###. We are here with you, interceding on behalf of your family. Trust that God is in control and that He loves you all dearly.
