Hi everyone, My dad ### had his liver surgery. It didn't go as planned; they were going to just do it by Laparoscopy. But they found the tumor on his liver had grown. So they needed to open him up by surgery. They intended on cutting out 1/4 of his liver. But they found 2 more tumors so they took 1/2. And they scooped out 2 other areas and will be testing them. He is awake and he is sitting up and they even have him walking which is a miracle in itself! I thank each of you for your prayers. He is unable to keep anything down though so they have him off all food and water and put a tube into his stomach to try and help the bloating. He is going through so much fighting. Please if you have time to pray his is able to get his bloating down and pass gas so he can start to heal and get the tube out. And pray his other biopsies come back cancer free! I have been trying to get up to see him every other day but it's a 2.5 hour drive so it has been difficult but he needs the support. Thanks ###

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and concern for ###. We thank You for the miracle that he is awake, sitting up, and even walking after such a significant surgery. Your hand is evident in his progress, and we give You all the glory and praise.

Lord, we lift up ### to You, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that the bloating in his stomach would subside and that he would be able to pass gas, allowing him to begin the healing process and have the tube removed. Your Word says, "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14). We claim this promise over ###'s life right now.

Father, we also pray for the results of the biopsies. We ask in Jesus' name that these tests come back cancer-free. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We hold on to Your promise in Psalm 103:3, which says, "who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."

We also lift up ### to You, Lord. Grant ### strength and endurance as he travels to support his father. Give him peace and comfort, knowing that You are with him every step of the way. Your Word reminds us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22). Help ### to cast all his cares upon You, trusting that You will sustain him.

Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard ### and ###'s hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
