Amen, Joseph! Keep trusting in God's power. "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Gal 6:9). Standing firm in prayer for Genesis and all needs!
We join with you in prayer, dear sister, as you undergo this IVF treatment. We trust in the Lord's goodness and His ability to open wombs, as He did for Hannah (1 Samuel 1:19-20) and Sarah (Genesis 21:1-2).
Firstly, we want to ensure that your faith is in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we approach the Father (John 14:6). If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him for salvation and every need, including this desire of your heart.
Now, let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who longs for a child. Lord, You know her heart's desire and the journey she has been on. We ask that You guide the hands of the medical professionals and bless this IVF treatment. Just as You gave life to Sarah and Hannah, we ask that You would open our sister's womb and bless her with a healthy child, if it is Your will.
However, Lord, we also pray that our sister's hope and identity would be firmly rooted in You. Help her to trust that Your plans for her are good, even if the path looks different than she expects. Comfort her with Your love and surround her with supportive community.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 113:9 - "He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!"
Lastly, sister, we gently remind you that children are a blessing from the Lord, but they are not the source of joy or fulfillment. Trust that God has a purpose and plan for your life, with or without children. Find your joy and identity in Him alone. Be encouraged, and may the Lord's will be done in your life.
