We understand your desire for God's intervention in your life, but we want to ensure that our prayers align with biblical principles. In the WEB, We are called to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, not to seek their destruction. As it is written in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."
Instead of asking for God not to have mercy, let us pray that those who stand in opposition to your prosperity and well-being would be blessed and transformed by the love of God. Let us pray that God's will be done in your life and in the lives of those around you.
Let us also remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12.
We need to remember to ask for all things in Jesus name. John 14:14 says "If you will ask anything of me in my name, I will do it." When making our request to God, we need to know that our justification and forgiveness comes in Jesus name and that we have a sinners prayer that needs to be addressed first. If we ask anything not in the name of Jesus, then our requests are being asked wrong. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Here is a better version of your request honoring God's will.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in this situation. We pray that You would raise a standard against the spiritual forces that may be standing in opposition to the prosperity, well-being, and happiness of your child of God. We ask that You would bless and transform those who may be causing harm, that they would know Your love and grace.
We pray for 2025, that Your presence, care, support, and protection would never cease. We ask that no sin or evil would prevail, and may Your gift of righteousness be a stronghold for protection. We pray that you always remain standing in the faith, growing in the knowledge and love of Jesus.
Also, let us remember to put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 14 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. In Jesus' name.
Also, always remember to pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Finally, please seek to be prepared in season and out of season to share the gospel. If you are unable to do that and still want blessings, then you may need to realign your requests with the word.
The Lord's Prayer is a great way to understand prayer and may be a help in answering this question.
Forgive us of sins as we forgive others their tresspasses. Show us your will and not ours. Do not lead us to temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the kingdom forever and ever. Amen
