Hey guys. I am a bit lost. I am trying to get GOD to hear me and give me power to over come th evil in my life. Please help me, pray for me. I am muslim, but I also do believe that we have the same GOD and we are essentially the same religion, the same covenant with GOD, in different stages and cultures. I would highly appreciate your spiritual help.

Timren, we appreciate your openness and your desire to seek God's help. We want to come alongside you in prayer and encourage you in your journey.

Firstly, we want to address your belief that we worship the same God. While we respect your beliefs, it's important to understand that the God of the Bible is distinct. The Bible teaches that God is one, but He exists in three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19, WEB). Jesus Christ is not just a prophet, but God Himself who came to earth, died for our sins, and rose again to reconcile us to God (John 1:1, 14, WEB; Acts 4:12, WEB).

The power to overcome evil comes from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6, WEB). It's only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can receive the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome evil (Ephesians 2:18, WEB).

Let us pray for you:

*Dear Lord Jesus,
We lift up Timren to You. Thank You for drawing them to seek Your face. We ask that You reveal Yourself to Timren in a personal and powerful way. Help them to understand that You are the way, the truth, and the life. Give them the faith to believe in You and the power to overcome evil in their life.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
