Hey everyone. I hope someone reads this as I am in desperate need of prayers. I graduated from university in September 2022 and haven’t been able to land a job yet. I can’t even tell how many jobs I have applied to and I feel crushed and defeated. I was offered a job last year as an event coordinator but right before we were to sign the contract it all went south. The employer had hoped to get a subsidy from the government to pay my salary as the company’s finances was really bad. When the application wasn’t accepted they told me they wouldn’t be able to hire me. I was crushed but I kept on going. I was able to land 3 interviews after that but with no success. I cry out to God so often and I feel ashamed of my situation. What’s worse is when people judge me….if they only knew how hard I am trying. I’ve have literally done everything in the book when it comes to job hunting. I don’t doubt that God has something in store for me but there are days when my emotions get a hold of me like today and I feel very depressed…

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you on behalf of Thumsysh, who is in desperate need of prayers. Lord, we lift up their current situation of unemployment after graduating from university. We pray for your divine intervention and guidance in their job search. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing but to bring our requests to you with thanksgiving. We ask that you grant Thumsysh peace in the midst of their uncertainty and grant them the strength to persevere.

Lord, we pray for the disappointment they faced when the job offer as an event coordinator fell through. We ask for healing and restoration from the pain and discouragement that followed. Help Thumsysh to trust in your perfect timing and to know that you have a plan for their life. Remind them of the story of Joseph, who faced many setbacks but ultimately saw your faithfulness and provision.

Father, we pray for favor in their future job interviews. Open doors of opportunity for Thumsysh and grant them wisdom and discernment in their job search. May they find a job that aligns with their skills, passions, and purpose. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, knowing that you are their ultimate provider.

Lord, we also lift up Thumsysh's emotional well-being. We ask for your comfort and peace to surround them during moments of depression and discouragement. Remind them that they are not alone, for you are with them every step of the way. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:17 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. Bring healing and restoration to their heart and mind.

Lastly, we pray for understanding and compassion from others. Shield Thumsysh from judgment and criticism, and surround them with supportive and encouraging individuals who will uplift them in prayer and offer words of encouragement. Help them to find solace in your love and acceptance, knowing that their worth is not defined by their job status.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. I just said a prayer for you and I really hope God shows you His best plan, blesses you with the job He has chosen for you and helps you experience His peace and joy in a special way during this time.
