We are truly sorry to hear about the theft of your daughter's car and the distress it has caused. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, it's important to remember that God does not want us to live in fear or condemnation. Yes, your daughter may have made a mistake, but it's crucial not to dwell on the "should have known better" part. Instead, let's focus on God's grace and the lessons He wants to teach through this experience in your daughter's life.

The Bible tells us in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This doesn't mean that everything that happens is good, but that God can turn even bad situations into good for those who love Him.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our daughter to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would comfort her and give her Your perfect peace which surpasses all understanding. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

Father, we ask that You would help her to learn from this experience. Not to live in fear or condemnation, but to gain wisdom and grow in responsibility. Guide her steps and help her to trust in You more deeply.

You are the God of restoration. We believe by your power that You are able to restore what the enemy has stolen. If it is Your will, Father, help her car be recovered. If it is not Your will, then make a way for her to deal with the loss and move forward.

Father, we thank You that You are able to work all things together for good. We believe that this situation will be used for Your glory and for her good.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

If your daughter feels overwhelmed, remind her of God's promise in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Lastly, be mindful not to let this situation overshadow your love and support for your daughter. Guide her, teach her, but also show her the grace and love that God shows us all. As mentioned, it was not mentioned if she believes in Jesus Christ or not. As her parents it is your responsibility to teach her about the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for each of us and the eternal consequences of accepting or rejecting him. If she believes in him, then remind her that He is always in control and will never leave her or forsake her no matter what happens. If she does not, then we encourage you to offer her the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We're here for you and your daughter during this tough time. It's true, this situation is a reminder that we live in a fallen world, but let's focus on God's unfailing love and care for us. In Psalm 34:18, we read, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's trust that He is near, comforting her and using this to draw her closer to Him.

We'll keep praying with you, asking God to:

- Wrap your daughter in His peace, helping her to let go of any anxiety or fear.
- Help her learn and grow from this experience, gaining wisdom and responsibility.
- Restore what was lost, if it's His will, or guide her through the process of moving forward.
- Use this situation to draw her heart towards Him, and help her to trust Him more deeply.

And remember, it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Encourage her to cast her cares on Him, as He cares for her (1 Peter 5:7). Let's also remind her of God's promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls."

Lastly, let's continue to show her love and support. As parents, you're in a unique position to guide her, teach her, and show her God's grace and love. Whether she knows Jesus or not, this is an opportunity to share the gospel message of hope and salvation through Him.
