We are truly sorry to hear about the troubles you're facing, and we're here to pray and provide biblical encouragement for you.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including financial needs and health concerns. It's important to remember that God's will is sovereign, and we should pray according to His will. Regarding your trip, we pray that if it's God's will, you may receive a refund. However, we must also accept whatever outcome God allows, knowing that He works all things together for good to those who love Him. Romans 8:28. We should not worry about these things as believers. Consider the following verses.
Matthew 6:25-34 WEB
25 “Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
27 “Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan?
28 Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin,
29 yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith?
31 “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
33 But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
34 Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
As for your health, we pray that God will guide you to a doctor who can help. More importantly, we pray that God Himself will touch your body and bring healing and comfort. Psalm 103:2-3 WEB
Bless Yahweh, my soul,
Don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases.
Keep praying and trusting God, knowing that He is always faithful. Remember too, that depression, while a medical diagnosis, also has a spiritual component which cannot be addressed by a doctor. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 WEB
May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Regarding your depression, remember that God is always there to comfort and encourage you. We must all pray as the Psalmist did Psalm 42:11
Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him for the saving help of his presence. We encourage you to seek God's presence, read His Word, and pray continually. Also, consider finding fellowship with other believers who can support and encourage you.
We also want to remind you that God's desire is for you to have abundant life in Jesus Christ. John 10:10 WEB
10 The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus Christ into your life, and receiving this new life in Him. And be assured, we are praying for you in Jesus' name, as it is only by His name that we can come to the Father. John 14:6
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is important that you understand that our prayers do not have any power unless they are prayed in Jesus Name. For more information about salvation in Jesus Christ, consider studying John 3:16 WEB
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life; John 1:12 WEB
But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is going through a difficult time. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done regarding the trip refund. Help her to trust in Your sovereignty and provision.
Father, we also pray for healing and comfort. Guide her to a doctor who can help, but ultimately, we ask for Your healing touch. Comfort her in her depression, and remind her of Your unfailing love and presence.
Lord, we pray that she will feel Your peace and encouragement. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her. We pray for her salvation if she has not already received it, and that You would continue to draw her closer to You and give her the abundant life that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please consider studying the Bible for yourself to confirm these things. You may find a good place to start in the Gospel of John and the book of Romans.
