We rejoice in your desire to receive Jesus as your Savior and your acknowledgment that He is your way out of darkness. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father and eternal salvation. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
First, let us address your eternal salvation. The Bible tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" (Romans 10:9-10 WEB). We encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His resurrection, so that you may be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be heard by God.
Concerning your struggles, know that God cares for you and understands your difficulties. Jesus tells us, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26 WEB).
We pray that God will provide for your needs and help you with your transportation so that you may continue to work and keep the wolves at bay. We ask God, "Give us today our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11 WEB), trusting that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Regarding your inner thoughts, remember that God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). We pray that God will increase your faith and forgive your sinful thoughts. As it is written in Psalm 103:3, "Who forgives all your iniquities; Who heals all your diseases". We encourage you to take every thought captive to obey Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB) and to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Lastly, we admonish and encourage you to stay strong in the Lord. "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB). Stay in prayer and in the Scriptures, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We need to be strong in the Lord and His mighty power. Do not rely on our own strength (Zechariah 4:6).
Father, we lift up this dear soul to You, asking that You will save him eternally through faith in Jesus Christ. Provide for his needs, increase his faith, and forgive his sinful thoughts. Help him to take every thought captive to obey Christ and to cast all his anxieties on You. Guide him through these dark times and help him to keep his head above the water. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
