We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. First, let's address your request for prayer and guidance in your relationship. It's clear that there's a lot of hurt and confusion, and it's important to seek God's will in this situation.
Let's remember what the WEB says in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." It's crucial to extend forgiveness, just as we have been forgiven in Christ. However, forgiveness does not mean you should stay in a situation where you are continually hurt.
We also read in 1 Corinthians 7:15, "Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace." If the other person is not willing to reconcile or causes constant harm, it might be necessary to separate.
Regarding your fear and desire to do the right thing, remember what God tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Trust that God will give you the courage and wisdom to make the right decisions.
Concerning your children, we pray for their well-being and happiness. For your son, we pray that he finds a godly wife, as Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." For your daughter, we pray for her marriage and her health. Remember that true beauty comes from within, as told in 1 Peter 3:3-4, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."
We also want to address that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. It's important to have faith in Jesus to be saved. As told in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ. We pray for her relationship, that Your will be done. Help her to forgive, and guide her to make the right decisions. Give her the courage to walk away if necessary, and protect her from harm.
We pray for her children, that You keep them safe and happy. Guide her son to find a godly wife, and help her daughter and her husband to grow stronger in their marriage. Inspire her daughter to focus on inner beauty and health.
Help our sister to stay sober and start a new life, guided by Your will. Forgive her sins, as she has forgiven others. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
