Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Regarding your son's surgery, we will pray for God's healing and provision. Remember, God cares for you and your son deeply. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." If it is possible and appropriate reach out to your local church. They may be able to provide some spiritual and possibly financial support.
We also want to address the frustration and sadness you're feeling. It's natural to feel this way in difficult circumstances, but remember that God is our ultimate source of strength and comfort. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." This is not a promise to remove all pain but rather to be there for us.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying and to trust in God. We noticed that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 We declare Jesus as Lord and through Him we can approach God the Father. It is only through Jesus that we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5
