We are truly sorry to hear about the difficult situation you are facing, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we acknowledge that your husband's abusive behavior has caused you significant harm, and we condemn his actions. The Bible tells us that God hates divorce and also tells husbands to love their wives just as Christ loved the church. He should be willing to lay down his life for his wife, not be abusive to her (Ephesians 5:25-28 WEB). Abuse is never acceptable, and it is important to seek safety and protection.

We also want to address the issue of your husband trying to get money in the divorce. The Bible tells us that we should be content with what we have and not be driven by greed (Hebrews 13:5 WEB). It is unfortunate that your husband is not demonstrating this principle and instead is trying to take advantage of you.

Let's pray together for your situation:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear sister who is going through a difficult time. Lord, you know the pain and suffering she has endured at the hands of her husband. We pray for your healing touch on her emotions, her mind, and her body. We ask that you would guide her through this divorce process and provide her with the legal help she needs, even if she cannot afford it. We pray that you would soften her husband's heart and convict him of his sins, bringing him to repentance. We also pray that you would provide for her financial needs and help her to find meaningful work that will support her.

Lord, we ask that you would surround her with godly counsel and support, and that you would guide her every step of the way. We pray that you would heal her from the PTSD and severe depression that she is experiencing, and that you would give her your peace that passes all understanding. We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is our only way to salvation and the forgiveness of sins. Amen.

Now, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Remember that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that God can work all things together for good, even this difficult situation (Romans 8:28 WEB). Trust in him, and he will see you through.

If there is a way to get representation from a legal aid society or a Christian law association, look into those. If you are connected to a church, contact them to see if they can help you with your needs. If you are not connected to a church, consider getting involved in a local congregation where you can find support and fellowship. They may have resources to help you. Also, if you have not already, consider reporting your husband's abuse to the authorities. They have resources to help you and can provide additional protection.

Please know that you are not alone, and that we are praying for you. Keep trusting in God, and he will see you through.
