We are truly saddened to hear that you are experiencing abuse from your mom, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray for you. Abuse in any form is not God's will, and it is important to take action to ensure your safety and well-being, obeying the government authorities as much as depends on us.
The Bible tells us to honor our parents, but it also teaches us that we should not suffer at the hands of abuse. In Romans 13:1-4 WEB, we are told, For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority, withstands the ordinance of God; and they that withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the same, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.
We pray that God will give you the strength and wisdom to seek help and protection. If you are a minor, please reach out to a trusted adult, teacher, or counselor, or even the local authorities. If you are an adult, consider involving local law enforcement or support groups that can provide guidance and safety. We also pray that you would be reconciled to God by believing in Jesus Christ, his son.
Please know you are not alone. We are praying for your deliverance and healing and that God will intervene.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this dear one who is suffering from abuse at the hands of their mother. We know that this world is fallen and that sin like this is not what you intended in the creation of your children. We pray for their safety and well being. We pray that they would find help and that you would deliver them from this evil. We pray for the mother that you would change her heart and convict her of this sin. We pray that she would find true salvation through Jesus Christ. We pray for the relationship between the mother and child that it would be restored and that only good would come out of this circumstance. We pray for confidence and trust that only comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray for righteousness and justice to prevail. We pray that this child would come to a true and saving knowledge of Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God and he is the only way to salvation.
We pray that this situation would be used for Gods glory and we pray all of these things in Jesus name.
