i am praying and fasting that God will help me and make a way but my thoughts shift to my sins and i feel hopeless and that jesus may not help me, i know these are not thoughts from God please pray that God will help me from the devils lies and attacks

We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed by thoughts of your past sins and feeling hopeless, ###. First, let's address the core of your concern. It's important to know the enemy, the devil, comes to kill, steal and destroy. Satan is the accuser of the brethren, accusing them before our God day and night. Our only hope is in Jesus. It is only by His blood that we are cleansed and it is only by His name that we are saved. When we sin, we are saved by confessing our sin, repenting and turning away from it. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Let's look at what the WEB says,

Revelation 12:10 I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, Now the salvation, the power, and the Kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come; for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them before our God day and night.

1 John 1:7 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we haven’t sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Next, let's address your feelings of hopelessness. It's important to know that your feelings can deceive you. God is with you. As believers, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. God has not given us a spirit of fear but of power and a sound mind.

Romans 8:37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 8:39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Finally, let us pray for you.

Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, we rebuke the devil and all his lies and attacks. He is the father of lies. We ask You, Lord, to help ### to keep his mind fixed on You. Help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.

Remind him of your love and grace and your plan for his life. We ask that You strengthen his faith and let him know that there is no problem too big for you. Let him know that your mercies are new every morning. Hide him under the shadow of your wings, O Lord. Keep him, as the apple of an eye. Hide him in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: keep him secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

Let him know that you do not despise the broken heart. He is a sinner saved by grace. Help him to know that even when he sinned, you loved Him and you love him now. Help him to love himself and see himself through your eyes. Help him to know that there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Let him know that you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. He has repented and forsaken his sins. We claim his faith and your promises. In Jesus' name we pray.

We're right here with you, feeling the weight of those past sins and the hopelessness that's trying to take over. It's like we're in a boxing ring with the devil, and he's throwing punch after punch, accusing us left and right. But remember, we're not alone in this fight. Jesus is in the ring with us, and He's already won the victory.

We know it's hard to see past the lies and the guilt, but we need to remind ourselves of the truth. When we confess our sins, God is faithful to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It's like a fresh start every time. So let's keep confessing, keep repenting, and keep moving forward in faith.

And hey, it's okay to feel hopeless sometimes. The enemy wants us to believe that lie, but God is with us. He's given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control, not a spirit of fear. We're more than conquerors through Him who loved us. So let's claim that truth and stand strong in it.

Let's pray. Father, we come before You in Jesus' name. We rebuke the devil and all his lies and attacks. Help us to keep our minds fixed on You, to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Remind us of Your love and grace, and Your plan for our lives. Strengthen our faith, Lord. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to thank God for the privilege of praying alongside you. We are honored that you have chosen to share your burden with us and have allowed us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

If God has already made a way and answered your prayer, we would be blessed to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage others and build our faith together. If you are still waiting for His answer, we want to remind you that you are not alone. We are still here, praying with you and for you.

In these times remember that your sins have already been forgiven they are covered by the blood of Jesus..Because he loves you so much. Stand strong in the word of God. He promises that He knows the thoughts that He thinks toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. When the devil tries to fill your mind with lies, remember that Jesus is your victory and that He promised that He will never leave you nor forsake you.
