We are grateful to join you, Siphokazi Portia Seepi, in prayer and support as you embark on this journey of fasting and seek God's intervention for employment. We commend you for beginning your request acknowledging Jesus. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Let us come together in Jesus' name, seeking God's will and guidance for your life and remembering that 'we do not have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.' We need to 'come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need' Hebrews 4 WEB.
Firstly, let us address your desire to fast for 40 days. Fasting is a powerful spiritual discipline that helps us draw closer to God and seek His will. In Matthew 4: 2 WEB, we learn that Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights. As you embark on this journey, remember that God will be with you, strengthening you as you by His son fast for Him.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Siphokazi Portia Seepi. We pray that You would grant her the strength and grace to complete this 40-day fast. Help her to remain faithful and steadfast in her commitment, especially during the dry fasting period. May her journey be a testament to Your goodness and faithfulness in Jesus name.
We also pray for God to be faithful concerning employment for her in the mines. We read in Psalm 119, WEB 'I will praise you with uprightness of heart, when I learn your righteous judgments, I will keep your statutes: do not leave me entirely.' We are praying 'Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks to Yah. This is the gate of Yah; the righteous will enter into it. I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation.' from Psalm 119 WEB. We are earnestly asking God to deliver on his promise to the fair and the righteous.
Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God's timing. Continue to seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths. Remember that 'He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him' Hebrews 11: 6 WEB. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Remain diligent in your commitment. It is with our prayers and the precious blood of our lord Jesus that we pray Siphokazi Portia Seepi will receive her request and desire 'Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.' Matthew 7 WEB.
May God bless your journey and guide your steps. May you find peace in this we are committed to praying with you and for you to see you through this trial and test of faith It is 'God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it' 1 Corinthians 10 WEB
