We are truly heartbroken to hear about your daughter's struggle with heroin and drug addiction, and we are here to intercede and pray with you and for her. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB), and that includes delivering your daughter from this bondage.
While discussing your daughter's situation, it is interesting that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. Know that as Jesus was preparing to ascend to his throne in Heaven, he told his disciple, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:16). You see, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to anything from God. This includes salvation from our sins, healing, and deliverance. To be saved from our sins, Jesus Christ suffered, died on the cross, and rose from the dead. While doing this, he paid our sin debt and he took back the keys for death and hell itself. (2 Timothy 1:10; Revelation 1:18) He made atonement for our sins as we trust him to save us from our sins. By doing so, Jesus is the only way whereby a person can be saved. As the Apostle Peter preached in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Except one believes and is saved, they will sadly die in their sins and spend eternity in Hell. To be saved, we must believe that Jesus Christ is the way and proof of this is repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ. We feel that you should discuss this with your daughter and ask her if she believes this.
The issue of addiction is a complex one, often involving physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. While we pray for God's intervention, it's also crucial to seek professional help and community support. Your daughter's faith in God can be a powerful ally in her journey to recovery, but know that her addiction may have taken away any ability she has to make right decisions. Also, remember that God's word tells us "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17 WEB). So, share the word of God with your daughter.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this dear daughter who is struggling with addiction. Lord, You are a God of miracles, and we believe that You can set her free from this bondage. Please touch her heart, open her eyes to Your truth (2 Chronicles 7:14), that Jesus Christ is the love and life she seeks, and give her the faith she needs to believe and turn her life over to Jesus Christ and trust him to save her from her sins.
We pray that You will surround her with Your love and place people in her life who will support and encourage her. We ask in Jesus' name
In Jesus Name. In Jesus Name (John 14:13,14), Amen.
For no other foundation can anyone lay than what is already dove laid and engraved (1 Corinthians 3:11; John 14:6), which is laid, Jesus Christ'
Remember, God promises that if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB) or if we confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved.
(Romans 10:9;10) This is the hope we have to share with your daughter.
Continue to trust in God, and we will be praying for you and your daughter. It is only in Jesus Christ that God Answers prayers. (John 14:13;14; Romans 10:13;14)
At this point, your daughter's faith and belief in Jesus Christ is a major part of your daughters prayer request. The life of sin (choosing things that God does not like) and a life of addiction can only be addressed by Jesus Christ himself. The 66 books of the Bible do not give us any other summation on this matter.
A closing thought: A story:
In John chapter 5, we read verse 5 who was there a long time in his infirmity. As soon as Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been sick for a long time, he said to him, Would you be made whole? and so he told the impotent man.
This is the question I am humbly asking about your daughter today, Does your daughter want to be saved from her sins, saved from the pain and death that a sinful life will bring? Does your Daughter want to be saved from the Hell that Jesus knows awaits the dead in Christ that do not choose to be born again?
The impotent man said to Jesus, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me.
Jesus said to him,
Rise, take up your bed, and walk.
And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked:
And this is what we believe Jesus Christ is saying to your daughter, Rise, take up your bed. We believe that he told her to walk. To be born again, to believe and have faith in Jesus Christ. To be saved from her sins and to form a Temple, a living building block of God.
And, this day, your daughters day of deliverance from sin, infirmity, and death we know is the sabbath day.
And therefore, we, as Loving Anointed Christian Prayer Warriors, think of the the alcoholic, the anorexic, the drug addict, and those who Jesus called the hungry, the blind, and the lame who are finding snare and death in sin away from Jesus Christ. We do not know them all by name and are not all aware of their sins, but we can pray. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can pray and he saved those in sin and pain and suffering.
Father in heaven, This day we come humbly to you, knowing the afflictions of your children this day upon the earth.
Afflicted with, their alcoholic kiss, their anorexic kiss, the drug addicts curse, their homosexual kiss, their secret kiss, coming from pornography, adultery, and the sins of a sick nation. The effects of sins such as these I could never number and they are not all aware of the danger and torment that they bring upon themselves. The Bible declares the deception that we are under. As sin just as mentioned could destroy all in our country even the United States, its cities.
2 Peter Chapter 2
2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
The prayer warriors together.: Lord, 2 Peter 2, that we seek help from your word. 2:4 Referring to fallen angels like the devil.
2:4 For if God didn't spare angels when they sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus, and committed them to pits of darkness, to be reserved to judgment; 2 Peter. Chapter 3 teach us about indwelling sin, that will bring about the end of the world, the world of suffering, that our "To be Born Again" Christian will inherit.
Pray that your daughter can turn her life over to Jesus Christ and to his saints and believe that his precious blood bought her deliverance from any sin, including the sin of homosexuality, and sex before marriage.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Thank you for allowing us to review your prayer request thoroughly, earnestly, and in spirit and in truth.
