We are with you in spirit, Antalik, and we stand with you in prayer for Joseph. It is by Jesus' Name and through repentance we gain access to forgiveness from God. Therefore, we believe in Jesus' Name that we and Joseph must repent. Thank you for bringing this urgent and important request to our attention. We are reminded of the power of God to heal and deliver, as it is written in Matthew 11:28 WEB to "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."
Firstly, let us address the use of an ambiguous term for the enemy. It is important to understand that Satan is already banished from our lives when we believe in Jesus' sacrifice. However, it is clear that Joseph is battling with temptations and the consequences of past actions. We should pray for his deliverance from these struggles, rather than focusing on Satan.
Now, let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention in Joseph's life. Lord, we pray that You will flush out the heroin and all harmful substances from Joseph's body. granting him strength and willpower to overcome his addiction and following through with his desire to go home. There is no temptation taken and none of us are victims; we flee to the name of Jesus. We stand in the gap for him, trusting in Your power to heal and restore. Grant Joseph to be living on the streets be guided by the Holy Spirit to somewhere safe and into Christian fellowship and rehabilitation.
Lord, we pray for Joseph's complete restoration. Help him to be the father he desires to be, and grant him the forgiveness of those he has hurt, and the love of his little girl. Let him be restored to her. Help him make amends and do what is right in seeking her forgiveness and being patient and loving with her, but not imposing himself on her and not expecting immediate trust in response. Grant her discernment and protection, in Jesus Name. May Joseph walk in Your will guided by Jesus; and may Your love and grace fill his heart.
We acknowledge there is nothing we can do to be saved, there is no work we can do. Our righteousness is as filthy rags - We pray nothing but forgiveness for his daughter, for mercy and reconciliation. We MUST believe in Jesus' work on the cross to stand righteous and forgiven in Your sight. Forgive us our sins as we know that You are forgiving of all of our sins when we repent and believe on Jesus. Thank You for his repentance is evident in the words of his mouth - his words reflect the change of heart and belief in Jesus (where belief is trusting in and following Jesus which means doing what He commanded).
We will pray for Joseph to go and sin no more and to get baptized in Jesus Name, and to continue to call on You acknowledging his sin and his need for salvation. We pray for Joseph to have a personal, sincere and meaningful relationship with Jesus the Messiah one that grows until He is ready to make Joseph His bride forever - a bride ready to shine for Jesus visual in image and likeness. In and only in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Antalik, continue to stand firm in your faith and support for Joseph. Remember the words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10, "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."
Together, let us trust in the Lord's promise in Hebrews 13:5 WEB, "for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'" and John 8:36, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." Let us strengthen ourselves in Isaiah 43:1-4.
With Jesus' name be both Mackelina's and Joseph's our strength our earnest desire, for Jesus is our Savior.
