We understand your concern for Joseph and the challenges he is facing. We will pray for him and offer some biblical encouragement and guidance.
Firstly, it is commendable that you have included that the prayer is in Jesus name at the end of the prayer. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. and in John 14:13 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up Joseph. Lord, you know the details of his situation and the mess he is in. We ask that you intervene and guide him. Give him clear direction today and help him to return to work safely. Grant him the strength and wisdom to perform his job well. Plant a firm seed in his heart to do what is right and to follow your will for his life. Protect his job and his home, Lord. We pray for God's over his family, not just a home or possessions. We ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
Now, let us encourage Joseph with some scripture. Joseph, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. This is from 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. This is from Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Moreover, work is a blessing from God not a right. We are commanded in Colossians 3:23 WEB Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we are working for the glory of the Lord then the quality of our output is a direct result of our dedication to Him. We cannot claim to believe in God and be working unrighteousness or be lazy and not performing at work as our role requires. God tells us that if someone does not provide for their own and especially their family then they have denied the faith and are worse than an infidel. This is because the Lord expects us to provide and care for our families. This is found in 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
Lastly, it is important to remember that God can make a way when there seems to be no way. Trust in him, and he will help you and Home should be thought of as more than just a house or residence. It should also be thought of as a family. Trust is a difficult thing when you are in hardship but by choosing to trust in God it will continue to build a larger reserve of trust. This is a difficult walk but even in the desert God will not abandon someone with faith the size of a mustard seed or less. Do not fall into self pity because no trial has overtaken you but such as is common to man. This comes from 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. Your ultimate goal should be to become a more devoted follower of God. General 1 Peter 4:19 WEB Therefore let them also who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well doing to a faithful Creator.
