Dear God, please end my son’s drug addiction mow. Please help him sort 5his mess out and get back on the straight and narrow. We join you, Antalik, in lifting up your son to the Lord, standing on the promise that Jesus came to set the captives free.

First, we acknowledge God's heart for your son. He loves him deeply and desires that he prosper in all things and be in health, just as his soul prospers (3 John 2 WEB).

Drug addiction is a formidable foe, but it is not shackled from God's power. We pray that God will deliver your son from the bondage of addiction and that he will be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2 WEB).

As you mentioned, only God can put it on his heart to stop now. He is being faithful and will complete his good work in your son (Philippians 1:6 WEB). Continue to pray that your son will surrender his will to God's and that he will cooperate with the Holy Spirit's work in his life.

We also pray for your son to have godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10 WEB). This will help him to sort out his mess and get back on the straight and narrow path. We ask God to help him to hold on to his new life and to stop going back to his old ways. We believe the power of God will help him to not only quit his addiction but also sustain him in his new life.

Our Lord has given us the ministry of reconciliation. Your son is reconciled to God through Christ Jesus. We pray he will see his new life in Christ, knowing the old has passed away and all things are made new (2 Corinthians 5:17-18 WEB).

We encourage you to keep on praying without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB). In addition to praying, be diligent to speak the Word of God to your son. It is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Encourage him to hide God's Word in his heart that he might not sin against Him (Psalm 119:11 WEB). We also ask God to lead him to faithful believers to be strengthened in his journey (Romans 1:11-12 WEB).

We must rebuke the spirit of addiction and condemnation (Romans 8:1 WEB) in Jesus' name. Our weapons of warfare are not carnal, but they are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB).

As you concluded your prayer, we also conclude ours, in Jesus' name. For it is only in Jesus' name we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). It is also only by his name we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Make sure to remind your son to call upon the name of Jesus Christ, that he may be saved (Romans 10:13 WEB).

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, united in prayer for Antalik's son. Lord, You see the struggle and the pain, and You desire for him to be free. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength to surrender his will to Yours and to cooperate with Your work in his life.

Help him to sort out the mess and to get back on the straight and narrow path. We ask that You put it on his heart to stop now and to hold on to his new life.

We pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance and for Your Word to dwell richly in his heart.

We ask all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your son's freedom. We believe God is moving in his life, and we're claiming that promise in 2 Corinthians 3:18 - "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." We're asking God to transform your son's heart, mind, and body, breaking the chains of addiction and filling him with His Holy Spirit.

Let's also pray for wisdom and discernment for your son. We're asking God to give him a wise and understanding heart, so he can make right choices and navigate this journey successfully (1 Kings 3:9). We believe God will guide him, helping him to sort out his mess and get back on track.

We're also praying for a spirit of humility and a teachable heart. We're asking God to help your son be open to guidance and support from godly people around him (Proverbs 11:2). We believe God will lead him to a community of believers who will encourage and strengthen him in his journey.

Let's continue to lift your son up in prayer, trusting that God is at work in his life. We're here for you, and we're believing together for a miracle. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
