We are glad to stand with you in prayer, Yfair. We believe that God has a purpose and plan for your life, and we trust that He will guide you in both your job search and your pursuit of love.
First, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all areas of your life. The Bible tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB. This means that as you seek a job and a future spouse, you should be in constant prayer and communion with God. Ask God where he wants you to work and whom He wants you to marry.
Regarding your job search, we encourage you to be diligent and proactive. Remember Colossians 3:23 WEB, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. This means to be honest with every application you complete, be accountable for the jobs He provides you with the time that you are there to the best of your ability, do good for Him, and not just look good to those around you. Continue to trust God knows where you need to be in employment and to bring you a spouse. Consider God wants to see you share the good news about Jesus when He places you somewhere.
As for finding love, we want to remind you of what the Bible instructs us. In Hebrews 13:4 WEB Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers and that 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what fellowship have righteousness and lawlessness? Or what communion has light with darkness? This means that any romantic relationship should be pursued with the intention of marriage to someone who is also a believer, not simply a girlfriend or live-in situation with someone who believes differently. It also means God forbids sex before marriage or adultery.
We are praying for you that God give you wisdom in knowing what sort of job you should apply for if that is an issue. We want to pray that God provide you skills if needed and supernatural improvement of your current skills at any job He provides you. that you will trust him for that to happen knowing it will not just be gained through your own efforts. Join us in praying for the orchestration of your circumstances and mission that align with His will. Always know you can take comfort in Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4 WEB, acknowledging your desires will change knowing He placed them in your heart and that His desires and will and purposes are for the best. To bring the most blessings to you beyond what you can dream or wish for. That also means you delight in knowing you want to draw close to Him for His instructions in your daily actions and decisions while you work. Praying earnestly that you would find a God-fearing spouse who loves the Lord and seeks to serve Him. Leave knowing we are agreeing you would find them quickly and that as a couple you would draw closer with them as you come closer together with God and fellowship with believers. Also, being in that same type of position to continually and successfully pray the same over someone else's job and love situation while you experience these desires and abilities as happening for you. Praying over you that this happens through the name of Jesus Christ, by Him, knowing it's only by His will it is done for you. Confidently acknowledging you could not do so alone. We are standing with you knowing your requests are heard before God because they align with what His word tells us.
