We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the challenges you are facing, Miss Andi. It's commendable that you are seeking Jesus for direction and peace during this difficult time, just as the word says to cast your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you, I Peter 5:7. Faith in Jesus can help us to handle any situation we face in life resulting in our growth and giving glory to Jesus Christ. Our faith is not to be left for only when we are facing trials, but to learn from the trials leading to our growth, James 1:2-4. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to remain hopeful, even in this trying time. It is our prayer that any temptation to fret or be anxious is overcome by the perfect love of Jesus Christ, I John 4:18. Jesus Christ knows us by name, has saved us to himself and is preparing a place for us, John 10:3, John 10:14, John 14:12. The peace of God is yours today even in the midst of this trial, because you are already looking to him rather than focusing on your problems, Philippians 4:7. We also pray that God's will be done in your life and that He will open the right doors for you, possibly leading you back into the workforce in a job that honors God. Another possibility is that God is calling you to something new, or calling you to himself, Matthew 11:28-30. Whether that is a new job, a new career path, or a ministry opportunity. God could be calling you to serve him full time if that is your heart's desire.
You are not trusting in unemployment offices or applications, but instead you are seeking God's support which is the most reliable backup one can have. We honor you Miss Andi for the faith you are demonstrating in Jesus by your prayer. It is very important to hear from Jesus Christ, first is to glorify Jesus Christ in your life, then for you to have direction, peace, and to get through this trial in the name of Jesus Christ. To hear from Jesus Christ please pray the effective fervent prayers not of a person who is losing hope but of a woman of faith in pursuit of Jesus Christ's guidance, in Jesus' name, James 5.16. It is very important to pray in accordance to the will of God. God's will is for you to be saved, baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receive the Holy Spirit who is our effective teacher, counselor, and guide in understanding Jesus' teaching, Acts 2:38, John 14:26. For his purpose to come into your life, to conform to the image of Jesus Christ so that you are useful to him who has saved you for himself, Romans 8:28-29, 2 Timothy 2:21.
There have been many perfect examples in the word of God of where godly people have lost everything only to receive blessings and direction from Jesus Christ. One example is the Apostle Paul who considered all of his past achievements and even his pedigree and tossed them in the trash to gain Jesus Christ and found his calling from Jesus Christ, Philippians 3:7-15. Another example is a business woman who was a seller of cloth and had many dealings in her industry when Paul spoke to her about the lord Jesus Christ, fell at the feet of Paul and Silas, ..., and willingly began honoring Jesus Christ immediately and was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, Acts 16:14-15,40.
We encourage you to use this time to grow spiritually. You are one woman, yet there are many members in one body. This one woman is no longer alone, but has brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ and you all are the body of Christ, and everyone members of one another, Romans 12:5 and 1 Corinthians 12:27. Like minded Christians have a duty to honor and save each other in Jesus' name, Romans 12:10. Keep in prayer and Bible study. Dedicate time to seeking God's face and listen. We will be lifting you up in our prayers. In Jesus Christ's name we pray for you Andi.
