We understand that you are going through a challenging time with your husband, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we commend you for your gratitude for your blessings and your desire to heal and forgive. It is important to remember that forgiveness is a powerful act that can bring healing and peace to your own heart, as the Bible tells us, "But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions." Mark 11:26 WEB.
In regards to your husband's therapist, it is important to pray for wisdom and discernment for them, that they may provide godly counsel and see the situation clearly. However, it is not our place to manipulate or control the actions of others, including whether the therapist reaches out to you. What we can do is pray for your husband's heart to be open to the counsel he receives, and for the therapist to act in a manner that is beneficial to your husband's growth and healing.
We must address that we noticed you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name) in your prayer request. According to the word in Matthew 21:22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer and in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We pray that the name of Jesus Christ will be lifted up in your life so that he can draw all men unto him.
We also want to encourage you to continue to set boundaries with wisdom and love. It is important to communicate these boundaries clearly and calmly, as you have begun to do. Remember, "Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins." 1 Peter 4:8 WEB. This allows God to work out the consequences of his choices and may help your husband to seek the change he needs.
We must also caution you against making decisions based on fear. The Bible tells us, "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Trust in God's plan for your life and have faith that He will provide for you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Swantalelf. We pray for her husband's therapist, that You would grant them wisdom and discernment as they provide counsel and support to your child. We ask that my husband's heart would be open and receptive to the help and healing of Yhr therapist. We pray that husband and wife will be able to communicate effectively and that boundaries will be set and respected as needed.
Lord, we ask that You would replace any fear in Swantalelf's heart with Your perfect love. Help her to trust in You and Your plan for her life. We ask that You would heal and restore their marriage, and that both husband and wife would be drawn closer to You through this trial. We pray for forgiveness to flow and bonds ofbittermess to be broken.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Swantalelf's living situation, that You would work everything out for her good and Your glory. We ask that You would surround her with Your peace and protection, and that You would grant her the faith to trust in You. allow her to forgive from the heart. We pray alse for conviction for her husband so that he sees the need for change.
We ask all these things by the name of Jesus Christ, in whom we have all access to God.
