Christopher, we are lifting up the Colorado City Texas Sheriff's Department and the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office to God in prayer, asking for His guidance, wisdom, and discernment for all those involved. We pray for the comfort and peace of God to be with the family and friends of William Hula, who tragically lost his life.
We must remember that God has instituted governing authorities to maintain order and justice. As it is written in Romans 13:1-4 WEB:
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment. For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority, for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.
However, we must also pray for justice and righteousness to prevail in this situation. If there has been any wrongdoing or misconduct by the sheriff's department, we ask God to bring it to light and to hold those responsible accountable. We pray for fairness and compassion for all those involved, including your daughter and the mentally ill young man.
In all things, we must remember to approach God in the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:11-12 WEB:
This is the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We lift up this situation to God, asking for His will to be done and for His kingdom to come. We pray for healing, restoration, and reconciliation for all those affected.

Lastly, Christopher, we encourage you to continue to trust in God and to seek His will in all things. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean to your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.
