It's clear that your heart is heavy for your family, Awivis, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and peace.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name and His blood, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB), and there is power in His blood to redeem and cleanse us from all sin (1 John 1:7 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Awivis' family. We ask that Your Holy Spirit will convict their hearts and draw them to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. We claim Your promise in Acts 16:31 WEB, that as many as believe in Him will be saved.
Lord, we also bring before You the situation with Awivis' brother. We rebuke the spirit of alcoholism and violence, and we ask for Your peace to reign in their home. We pray that You will sober his mind and soften his heart, that he may turn to You and be saved (2 Timothy 2:25-26 WEB).
Father, we ask that You will give Awivis' parents wisdom and strength to deal with this situation, and that You will comfort them and give them peace. We trust in Your promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB, that You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in our troubles.
Lord, we thank You for Awivis' faith and we pray that You will increase it, that they may be a light to their family and lead them to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Awivis, remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Trust in God, and continue to intercede for your family, believing that they will come to know Jesus.
In times of distress, it's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Encourage your family to turn to Him in their times of need, and pray that they will come to understand that He is the only true source of peace and salvation.
