We are truly saddened to hear about the difficult situation you are in, Chempsia. Our hearts go out to you as we lift you up in prayer and offer counsel based on God's Word.
Firstly, we commend you for calling on the name of Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved."
We strongly rebuke the abuse you are facing. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:28-29 (WEB), "Husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly." Your husband's behavior is not reflective of this commandment.
We understand that you feel stuck, but remember the promises of God. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit." God is near to you in this difficult time, and He can make a way where there seems to be no way.
We encourage you to seek help from local resources, such as churches, domestic abuse hotlines, or women's shelters. They can provide practical support and guidance. Remember, it is not God's will for you to remain in an abusive situation.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' mighty name, pleading for Chempsia and her daughter's safety and provision. Lord, You know the pain and suffering they are enduring. Please deliver them from this abusive situation and provide a safe haven. Guide Chempsia to the right resources and people who can help her. Heal her from her migraines and the emotional trauma she has endured. Give her the strength to get out of bed each day and the grace to forgive. In Jesus' name, we trust and believe that You will make a way for Chempsia and her daughter. We also pray for Jesse, that his heart may change, and he may seek Your face, Lord. Amen."
Regarding your wish for a carefree life and someone to take care of you, remember that God is your ultimate provider and comforter. Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." Trust in Him, and He will bring the right people into your life according to His will.
Lastly, we urge you not to put your hope in lottery tickets, but rather in the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God has a better plan for your life than any jackpot could provide.
Stay strong in your faith, Chempsia. We are praying for you and believe that God will make a way for you and your daughter.
