We are truly touched by your concern for your friend and her family. Let us stand together in prayer and seek God's will for their lives.
Firstly, let's address the concern about your friend's faltering faith. It's understandable that she may feel this way given her circumstances, but we must remember what is said in Romans 5:3-4 (WEB), "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Even in her pain, God can bring growth and renewal.
Regarding her disbelief, we gently remind her of the words of Jesus in John 11:25-26 (WEB), "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies. Whoever lives and believes in me will never die." It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and eternal life. We encourage her to put her trust in Him, even when it's difficult.
Now, let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you today, lifting up our dear sister and her family. Lord, you see their pain, their struggles, and their doubts. We ask that you comfort her broken heart, heal her children's wounds, and provide for their needs. Guide her through the process of applying for disability, Lord, and grant her favor.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for their salvation. We ask that you reveal yourself to them, draw them to you, and reignite their hope. Help them to understand that even in their trials, you are with them, loving them, and working all things together for their good, according to your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you to continue being a source of support and love for your friend. Remind her of God's promises and His unfailing love. As it says in Galatians 6:2 (WEB), "Bear one anotherโs burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
