We understand that you're going through a challenging time, Awivis. It's commendable that you've taken a stand to protect your mother, but remember the instruction in Ephesians 6:2, "Honor your father and mother,โ which is the first commandment with a promise.
However, honoring your father does not mean tolerating sinful behavior. It's crucial to set boundaries while still showing respect. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men."
You've mentioned that you're in the midst of spiritual warfare, and we want to remind you of Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the worldโs rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Remember to put on the full armor of God, and stand firm in your faith.
Regarding your grandmother's pneumonia, we trust that you're praying for her healing. We join you in prayer, claiming the promise in James 5:15, "The prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We appreciate that you've prayed in Jesus' name, Awivis. It's only through Him that we have access to the Father, as Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We pray that God will guide you in honoring Him in all your ways. May He grant you the strength to forgive those who have wronged you, just as Christ forgave us (Ephesians 4:32). We also pray for K, that they may come to know the Lord and that there will be reconciliation between you, according to God's will.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we bring Awivis before Your throne of grace. Grant them the wisdom to navigate this challenging time. Give them the strength to set boundaries while still honoring their father. Heal their grandmother, Lord, and bring peace to their family drama. In Jesus' name, we pray for forgiveness for those who have wronged Awivis, and we claim reconciliation between Awivis and K, according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Stay strong in the Lord, Awivis. Keep praying and trusting in Him.
