We understand your urgency in seeking a job offer, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Let's first remember that God is our provider, and He knows our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB): "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
However, we must also be diligent in our efforts, as 2 Thessalonians 3:10 (WEB) tells us, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" So, continue to put forth effort in your job search, trusting that God will open the right doors at the right time.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in our brother's job search. Lord, You know his needs and the needs of those depending on him. Please, in Your mercy, open the doors to a suitable job quickly. Give him the wisdom to know where to apply and the favor that comes from You in the sight of potential employers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Regarding your friend who is suffering, we are sorry to hear that and want to lift them up in prayer as well. James 5:16 (WEB) encourages us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
