We are truly sorry to hear about your distressing situation, Pelonone. Our hearts go out to you, and we want you to know that you are not alone. The Bible tells us, "Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter" (Proverbs 24:11, WEB). It is crucial to seek protection and support in situations of domestic violence.
In addressing your concerns, let's also consider the responsibilities we have to each other in a relationship. The Bible teaches mutual respect and care between spouses: "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). "Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord" (Ephesians 5:22, WEB). However, this submission is never meant to endure abuse or harm.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up Pelonone to You, asking for Your divine protection and guidance. Lord, grant her the courage to seek safety and the wisdom to make decisions that honor You. Please comfort her heart and provide her with the support she needs. We ask that You intervene in her circumstances and bring peace and resolution according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
